What is Trunking ?
Trunking is a two way radio communications system which uses state of the art sophisticated computerised technology to allow you to do far more with mobile communications than ever before.
When you invest in Trunked radio communications, a radio channel is automatically and exclusively assigned to you for each of your two way conversations. With today's limited availability for frequency use, Trunked networks allow users to share resources effectively without incurring additional costs.
With the onset of trunking systems, a new dimension has been added to the capabilities of business communications, enabling both organizations and companies to achieve higher levels of efficiency and productivity at lower costs.
With Trunked radio communications, you only pay for the coverage, system and service that suit your individual business requirements.
Trunking provides the ability to send and receive voice and data in a highly efficient manner. It also provides the important benefits of instant access on either local or wide area coverage, flexibility and high degree of confidentiality.
Once you are set up with a fixed monthly access charge per unit, dispatch calls within your network are free !!!!! **
** some network providers may charge for excess airtime usage.
There are two main Trunked dispatch networks available:
Smartnet
For local Christchurch and Canterbury Business needing local communications.
Teamtalk MPT1327 Network Options
Wide area systems for those businesses that need to go further a field, giving coverage from Auckland to Invercargill.
