On Farm Repeaters

The RDX 4 watt Pole Mount Repeater has been designed to be totally self sufficient - strapped to a pole. Built from the high quality Motorola range of Two way radio equipment covering both VHF and UHF frequency bands, its' regulated solar power supply charges the lead acid jell battery on even the darkest of days. With annual maintenance checks kept to a minimum, the servicing of these units is more preventative than essential.
T L Parker manage the project from the no obligation site test conducted by one of their communication consultants, who will advise on the options based on the result of your own farms performance, manage applications for preferred frequency from Government agencies, co ordinate the building and install the repeater equipment.

Conventional Shared Repeaters
Where greater coverage is required other than that available via simplex frequencies, a conventional shared repeater or trunked networks (where available) are the next best low cost options.
Generally exclusive or shared community repeaters are used where trunked systems are not available.
Shared Community repeaters allow several small users to share the cost of installing or renting a local repeater (if available) whilst getting the required local coverage for their business.
Exclusive channels allow large local companies to keep their communications cost to a minimum by having a large numbers of units to operate sharing the fixed monthly cost. Generally the cost effective break even point for an exclusive channel is 25 + units.
